Uncle Henry’s Favorites
Jim Childress and Pete Vigour take turns with the fiddle and guitar, Ellen Vigour plays the mandolin and calls square dances, while Mark Beall plays bass. Pete also frails the 5-string banjo for the old dance tunes. Uncle Henry’s Favorites’ CD has won rave reviews, and the band reached a national audience with an appearance on national public radio’s "A Prairie Home Companion."
The Albemarle Ramblers—Pete Vigour, Dick Harrington, and Arnie Naiman—recently returned from England and Scotland for a three week tour. The Ramblers' CD is now available.
